Modge Podge Dreams

The opening pages to the calendar Photography Business Institute sends it’s participants in some programs kicks off with pages to set goals. For my first iteration, I rounded up pictures online, made a collage or two, printed that, and taped them in. This time I had an old envelope of magazine clippings meant for treasure maps.

When I realized there could be a reason I hung onto this envelope for more than 20 years, I got to work arranging the clippings and gluing them down. It made the pages so stiff, the book constantly flips open to those pages. Revisiting the goals regularly is more inspiring than last year’s set it and forget it method.

If you’re curious, the different areas are supposed to be My Why, Money Goals, Family First Goals, Meaning & Impact, and My Best Self. Then the next spread has more space to write down daily and weekly goals for eight categories. I should probably be paying attention to all the things I was trying to speak into existence…
