When I saw a hug line outside the Walmart, all I could think of was when we used to stand in even longer lines during pandemic. It was so ridiculous how long the lines were back then, but they moved so much faster.
Systems were down, so they couldn’t risk too many people in line for check out. To entertain myself, I tried to casually take pictures when I wasn’t side eyeing people cutting the line.
You could be placing an online order while you waited in line, but they might not start shopping for your order for hours. We all just had to wait. Even the little kids. I had one bigger kid who came over and tried to use my cart like a couch.
By the time I needed to check out, things were up and running like normal.
