The day before Halloween, I learned to change my own car battery. I’ve purchased batteries before and never had the cashier act like I’m supposed to just take the battery and walk away.
First, my car is dead in your parking lot. Second, there are signs saying no work is allowed in the parking lot. The cashier should probably ask the customer what’s going on.
At the time, I was recording everything because I thought I’d start posting to TikTok more regularly. In July I went back to fill in the blanks and make it a more complete video.
It was a rough couple days. On the 30th alone, I had an oven repair guy finally show up and tell me nothing was wrong with the oven that clearly wasn’t cooking my food. The photos on my phone from that day alone are video of his special thermometer dropping below 400 degrees when the oven is set to 425, rain pouring down, and me making Halloween costumes. And that is all before I’m supposed to take my son to a high school open house, but the car battery died. I don’t think I was too motivated to make a fun video.
