When I was fed this reel, I had to screenshot it. The idea of pinning a T-shirt and big sweatshirt to make them look like they fit better is a perfect example of how important wardrobe styling is.

The before and after is completely what I wanted to look like in the ’90s when I wore this outfit regularly. I would wear my T-shirt backwards to be sure the collar lined up high enough above the outer layer, but I probably wouldn’t have pinned my sweater.
She’s created a more flattering shape when the sleeves are pushed up and the white lines are more obvious. This is why people can’t simply ask what they should wear for portrait sessions. *How* you wear it makes all the difference.

I hope to be able to gently guide my subjects into better styling like this.
