Another title supplied by WordPress, but I’ll take it. Success Academy Bensonhurst asked me to come take pictures when the Brooklyn Nets came to visit the school. Having no idea that Brooklyn Basketball was a thing but having seen that Shaq had stopped by recess at a different school, I was preparing for celebrities. This was not that.
The team that coached a select group of scholars was really good with kids. I was more than happy to try to show off what a good time everyone seemed to be having and how much they learned.
I won’t post all the pictures here so I can post about my favorites in more detail. What I will say about the collaboration that made it magical was how good the coaches were with kids and how ready the kids were to try new things.
