Clearing out my file cabinet, I found a folder of magazine tears that were supposed to be my inspiration for building a portfolio. All of these might be at least 15 years old. But all of these still seem like they could still work as guides for how to pose people.

I like that the model for Anthropologie is sitting almost the same way as the wedding dress designer. But one is posed like a model. It’s prep for how I need to make business owners believe they are models.
Tomorrow I have a session with a woman who literally said she is not very photogenic because she doesn’t like to be in front of the camera. Deep breath… It looks like after lighting, my main task is making her believe she is a natural. We had coffee one time and she looked great when she was super relaxed. We just have to get back to that.
