The combination of pictures is pretty amazing: Close up, medium, and distant, but subtle. And everyone is good-looking.
When I saw this story, it felt aspirational. Like, my Walmart’s not like that. They added so many shopping cart corals, but not everyone uses them. The angle on this cart picture is dramatic. At my Walmart, conveyor belts are usually piled high with merchandise that we all have to figure out how to bag quickly for ourselves. And my Walmart does not have gas. Her car is shiny and she doesn’t have to hold the pump the whole time, like New York City.
They tell the whole story in three images. I had to take a picture for my brand board on Pinterest, but I thought I’d post the story here as well. I hope all my marketing images that are supposed to be editorial packages can feel like this.
