My kids and I took our Corgi to the closest dog park we could find to do something different than the new routine of getting my middle child to walk around the local track. The dog par is attached to a city park with many sections and usually tons of street parking. I had them walk through the park to get back to the car rather than straight back the way we’d come. That’s how we ended up passing the BBQ area. It was like a horror movie.
What happened to this party? How do you leave so much trash exactly where you were standing?

I can’t find evidence that there were shots fired the night before because I don’t use Citizen App and there was no police tape. The way all the trash is spread out exactly where people would have been standing is wild.

There were city parks employees nearby, but they were not yet getting started on this mess. The track we normally go to has a team of three or four people in their bright green shirts regularly trying to clean up broken bottles and other trash early in the morning. This was Monday, but I see the team at the other park sweeping and picking at like 7 a.m. on weekdays when there was no holiday. The crew at this park was facing midday heat setting in soon. That might be the real horror.
